Combat Athletics is a Martial Arts Academy for everyone.

Our team of Instructors will guide and help you on your journey, in this unique and special space which is steeped in history .

The Core team is Howard Hughes and Karen Ousey, both former champion fighters and without question the original and most highly qualified instructors in the Torbay and South West England in general.

Howard is a former 3 x British Champion in Muay Thai, and a black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. He is a third degree under the famous Grand Master Sken Kaewpadung from Thailand. He is also very passionate about Kali/Filipino Martial Arts holding a Level 1 Instructorship with the MKG group, headed by Rick Faye.

Karen is a former British and 3 x World Champion, undefeated as a professional fighter, a red armband under Grand Master Sken . Fully qualified PT/Fitness Instructor.
